We are going to Stiggs to go behind the taps with Mike. Spent time a few months ago with Mike where we took part in a Brew school and brewed some of my own home brew, the HippoPortermus. This beer was tagged on UNTAPPED at a 3.75. Very proud of this homebrew. If you can take the Brew School with Mike, you will not be disappointed, Mike is a great host, knowledgeable, and entertaining.
Having just started learning to smoke meats myself, I really have a great appreciation for smoked meats done right. Stiggs Brewery and Kitchen is top notch. They have some very creative smoked items on the menu - something for everyone and things you will find nowhere else. When you visit Mike and the team, check out the cartoons on the wall and you might even get lucky enough to have dinner in the Vault room.
From Logging to Lagers, you will have a unique experience at Stiggs. The area around the water in Boyne City is a great place to spend an evening.
And most notable: The sneaky squirrel gets the first Brewery Tour Channel thumbs up sticker.
