One month into Spring, on a snow filled day as can only be found in Northern Michigan, the Brewery Tour Channel took its first adventure, going behind the taps at Snowbelt Brewing
Company. We made sure our batteries were all charged, the cameras were ready, and the mics were on. We had no appointment, and really did not know how we would be greeted when we asked if we could video tape an Interview.
So, we did the only thing that one does when in a new situation, we ordered 6 great beers to taste. We were served by a very hospital and gracious “Dominique “ He was great. He took the time to share with us the stories behind the beers, the unique names and flavor profiles, and the upcoming music events that Snowflake brewing plan to participate in. The atmosphere was fun, and on Friday night, the band was rocking some classic old tunes, while the crowed drank and danced the night away.
Snowbelt brewing is clearly about being local, paying tribute to many local businesses such as El Patron and the Alpine Haus. This is a great little stopping place as you head north or south in Michigan.
